Hot spots, also known as "acute moist dermatitis," are areas of skin that become inflamed, raw, infected, and itchy.
DERMagic Hot Spot Salve is a concentrated formula of our Skin Rescue Lotion. This fresh-smelling salve is made with the same natural and organic ingredients, including whole leaf aloe vera gel, vitamin E, rosemary essential oil, sesame oil, and lanolin to help it adhere to the skin.
This product is intended for dry hot spots and itchy or inflamed areas (such as insect bites and local allergic reactions). Apply a small amount of DERMagic Hot Spot Salve once or twice daily until symptoms resolve. Always keep DERMagic on hand for those small bites or cuts to help reduce infections. (Note: If you are treating a large area or your dog has black skin or hair loss, use a skin lotion instead of Hot Spot Salve.)

Before applying for the first time, clip all hair around the hot spot or wound. Apply a small amount of DERMagic Hot Spot Salve directly to the wound. Cover the area with socks or a t-shirt to prevent licking. There is nothing harmful or toxic in this product that could harm your pet if swallowed.
Reapply DERMagic Hot Spot Salve once or twice daily until symptoms disappear. Note: We recommend covering the affected area with a T-shirt or baby socks until it heals or until a hard scab forms and the itching stops.
Ingredients: Organic Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Sulfur, Lanolin, Sesame Indicum (Sesame) Seed Oil, Organic Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Water (Aqua), Beeswax, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Oil, and Tocopheryl Vitamin E.
